Yum Cha House

Went to Yum Cha House after our friend birthday, the food were actually very nice, clean and fresh. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Even tho we had to waited about 10-15 minutes for the table but it was worth it. Every dish were very nice and well prepared with quality ingredients. My kids love the food. Highly recommend

I was highly recommended by my sister to visit yum cha house, so we decided to go with the family, eight in total. I’m not a fan of seafood but I did get to try the deep fried prawn and seaweed spring rolls, they were good. Best dish for me was the satay beef, it was full of flavour and not too spicy, add a bit of steamed rice and yummy. Service was good, it wasn’t too busy for a Friday night, as I’ve heard this place can get very busy and noisy, so I guess we chose a good night.

Took a number which wait time approx 20mins on a busy Sat late noon. Many dishes to choose from and every dish we selected were amazingly delicious. Fresh ingredients used. I especially liked the porridge which is not waterly like some other dim sum rest. Friendly and fast service we received. Too many dishes that fogotten to take a good photo of. Great eat!

This was the worst dine in experience I have ever had. To start off with there was a line which we were more than happy to wait in. I went inside and told the front hostess it was 5 adults and 2 children. She proceeded to write that down on a ticket and told me the wait would be 15 minutes and to wait outside. She did not give me a ticket number. I went outside and waited 10 minutes which is when she called out another number. I went back inside and told her she never gave me a number so she proceeded write a new number that was now behind multiple other families. We waited a total 40 minutes to be seated despite there being multiple tables available. Once we were seated we weren’t served for another 10 minutes. The service was awful, no one checked in on us and we had to ask servers/ flag people down for chopsticks, water and to order. The cart came to us twice and both times there was nothing on it as we were seated at the back. The items we did order off the menu took another 20 minutes to come out. We asked for chilli oil multiple times no one brought it out. We were completely forgotten about. It is also severely overpriced. All in all there are a number of better options for Yum Cha. Avoid at all costs. Terrible experience and will not be going back.
